Sat, 19 Jun 2010The SEAT Leon Cupra R gets launched in the UK - again We ran a story back in March heralding the arrival of the SEAT LEon Cupra R to the UK and bemoaning the fact that it had taken SEAT six months from showing the Cupra R in Frankfurt to actually getting their act to the UK. Now here we are three months later, and guess what? SEAT has sent us a press release to let us know the SEAT Leon Cupra R is here.
CPP buys Bowler Offroad
Fri, 11 Mar 2011Bowler Nemesis - Now made - and owned - by CPP Goodness, CPP Manufacturing are busy little bees at the moment. For the uninitiated, Bowler are the makers of bonkers offroad vehicles that can probably be best described as Land Rover Supercars.
Ford Focus is the best selling car…in the World
Sat, 01 Sep 2012In the week Ford built its 350 millionth car, the Ford Focus has been revealed as the best selling car in the world in 2012. It probably helps that the Ford Focus is now a proper world car, rather than just a European model, but it’s still an impressive claim - the Ford Focus sold 522,181 in the first seven months of 2012, making it the world’s top selling car. Of that half a million plus Focuss (Focii?) Ford shifted over a quarter of them in Europe (153,400) and the Focus outsold both the Toyota Corolla and VW Golf worldwide and in the last year a massive 860,00 Focus have found homes round the world.
