GM’s Henderson offers a ray of hope for Sky, Solstice

There appears to be a slight glimmer of hope for fans of the Saturn Sky and the Pontiac Solstice. CEO Fritz Henderson said that General Motors would be willing to sell its Wilmington, Del., plant, which builds the Sky and the Solstice--two eye-catching performance cars--if a buyer specifically wanted those niche products, similar to what Chrysler offered with its Dodge Viper business.

It seems Audi is getting cold feet on its electric car plans with the Audi A2 EV and the Audi A1 Range-Extender reported to be dropped. GOOD news for fans of the MG brand, as the firm has announced that its recently introduced 90th anniversary Limited Edition MG3 and MG6 vehicles are selling fast. With most of the 90 vehicles already sold out, MG has confirmed that if all 90 vehicles are sold within 90 days, one lucky customer will go on to win an MG3. The MG 90th Anniversary Limited Editions were launched at the MG90 event at Silverstone in June this year, where the Midlands based manufacturer celebrated 90 years of the iconic marque.
