FAQ

  • WHY IS THE SPACER I RECEIVED NOT 2.5" THICK?
  • The amount advertised is the amount your truck will be raised in the front, not the spacer thickness. The spacers included are designed to work with the geometry of your suspension and give you the MAXIMUM amount of lift with minimal alterations to your ride so it will NOT affect your ride quality or overextend your suspension parts.
  • ARE THE SPACERS COATED?
  • Yes, the spacers are Teflon coated and will never lose its finish. Anodized aluminum kits will change color over time. Painted or powder coated steel chips and takes out chunks of the finish. However, Teflon resists all of the elements plus gives you a hard coating that is scratch resistant and will last forever.
  • DO I NEED LONGER SHOCKS FOR THIS KITS?
  • Longer shocks are not required with this kit. The dealer recommends that you replace your shocks every 50,000 miles. If you haven't done so yet, it is recommended to replace it all at same time.
  • WHY AM I LIFTING MY TRUCK HIGHER IN THE FRONT?
  • The reason why we offer our full kits higher in the front is to get rid of some of your factory rake. Because your rear is higher than the front from the factory, by raising your truck an uneven amount, will make it look more level and look much better.
  • I NEED HELP, WHAT CAN I DO?
  • Heavy Metal is a brand that is proud to offer the best customer support possible. Whether it's help in selecting the right kit for your application, or technical support during your install, we've got you covered. Feel free to contact us at 1-800-575-2768 for all of your lift and leveling needs.

Mon, 25 Nov 2013

Order books will open next month for the 2014 Honda Civic Tourer – and surprisingly, it’ll cost more than a Volkswagen Golf. The entry-level 1.8-litre petrol will start at £20,265 – around £2,000 more than the base-spec Ford Focus and Volkswagen Golf estates. But it beats them all for boot space.

Range Rover Evoque by Arden - the Arden AR8 City Roader It would be nice to think that the pimpers and preeners of nice bits of manufacturers metal would at least wait until a new car hits the road before adorning it with the automotive equivalent of a glitter ball, a spray tan and too much makeup. But, no. German tuner Arden has taken the funky Range Rover Evoque and made it ‘better’, delivering the end result as the Arden AE8 City Roader.
