Wolverine R-Spec

Take a utility driven mindset and combine it with race ready performance and you're left with the Wolverine R-Spec. Offering superior handling and an exciting ride in a variety of offroad environments, the R-Spec really saw a huge increase in performance with the HMF stainless steel Swamp series exhausts. Available as a slip on or full system, the Wolverine exhaust picks up 4-5 more horse power with a substantlal increase to the quality of sound.

    Swamp Series

The Swamp Series from HMF is the original in setting new standards for horse power, sound, and durability on a utility machine. The large stainless steel shell has more internal volume to create more horse power at lower sound levels.

    • Controls sound levels to approximately 1-2 dB over stock
    • 304 Stainless Steel, 5" diameter shell gives the exhaust more internal volume.
    • The inlet is TIG welded for a completely water tight seal in conjunction with the snorkel kit.
    • USFS Approved: All HMF offroad exhausts come with a USFS approved spark arrester.
    • Two Year Warranty: HMF Engineering Inc. warranties all exhaust systems for two years from the date of purchase for all manufacturing defects.

Shelby 1000 Mustang: A completely bonkers dose of American Muscle Car

Wed, 28 Mar 2012

Shelby 1000 Mustang Shelby has taken the Ford Mustang GT500 and given it up to 1085bhp to create the Shelby 1000. But it’ll cost you the best part of £150k. Fifty years ago Caroll Shelby changed UK motorways forever by teaming up with AC to produce the AC Cobra which, it is said, was responsible for Barbara Castle introducing the 70mph speed limits on motorways after AC used the new M1 to test the AC Cobra at speeds of up to 180mph.

Lamborghini shifts R&D focus from more horses to fewer pounds

Mon, 25 Jan 2010

Lamborghini's drivetrain wizards say they have all the horsepower they need for their super-fast cars. So from here on, performance gains will come from using lighter materials to reduce vehicle weight, instead of from chasing more engine thrust. "It has come to the point where acceleration equals consumption," said Stephan Winkelmann, CEO of the Italian automaker.
