Holley Factory Refurbished Carb Description |
This is an
official
Holley Performance Factory Refurbished Carburetor listing.
Factory
Refurbished
carbs are NOT old worn-out carbs that have been rebuilt.
They are carbs that were returned under warranty.
When these carbs are returned, we check them out and most
of
the time there is nothing wrong with them. Generally,
they were simply adjusted out of working range by the installer.
Since these
carbs
may show signs of a previous installation, our policy is not to sell
them
as new. Rather than scrapping them, we are making
them
directly available to the public. Not only does
this help
us control the costs of our new carbs, it allows you to get a great
deal
on a like-new carburetor!
Factory
Refurbished
carbs have undergone a thorough inspection. Any
damaged
parts that would effect performance have been replaced and the carbs
are
solvent cleaned before being wet-flow-tested on Holley’s
state-of-the-art
flow benches allowing them to be recalibrated to new carb specs.
Factory Refurbished carbs may have scratches, blemishes,
and
other visual flaws from previous installation.
Factory Refurbished Carburetors have limited availability.

Honda has today debuted the production version of its CR-Z hybrid sports coupe at the 2010 Detroit motor show. The styling is inspired by the old CRX, but under the skin the CR-Z is pure 21st century hybrid. Featuring a 1.5-litre petrol engine with 108bhp and 71lb ft torque, the CR-Z produces 122bhp and 128lb ft in total thanks to the boost provided by its IMA parallel hybrid system.

This is the new, US-spec Volkswagen Jetta, and it’s part of VW’s plans to triple its annual sales in America to 800,000 units by 2018. And to help its cause, the VW Jetta no longer shares any body panels with the Golf, so the bold claim being made is that this new model is ‘just as independent as a CC or a Tiguan’. There are indeed strong family ties, and underneath the new Jetta is ultimately a Mk6 Golf.

We have official video of the Aston Martin Rapide from Valencia
Back at the start of February Aston Martin flew the world’s media to Valencia to party with the new Aston Martin Rapide. Even though Cars UK didn’t get an invite we decided to shove up a review of the Rapide covering what we knew from all the bumph Aston Martin had sent us and the opinions we’d formed from seeing the car. It wasn’t sour grapes – although it would have been nice to be asked – but looking at the reviews written by those who went on the ‘Jolly’ we were pretty much on the money.
