This is an official Holley Performance Factory Refurbished Carburetor listing. Factory Refurbished carbs are NOT old worn-out carbs that have been rebuilt. They are carbs that were returned under warranty. When these carbs are returned, we check them out and most of the time there is nothing wrong with them. Generally, they were simply adjusted out of working range by the installer. Since these carbs may show signs of a previous installation, our policy is not to sell them as new. Rather than scrapping them, we are making them directly available to the public. Not only does this help us control the costs of our new carbs, it allows you to get a great deal on a like-new carburetor! Factory Refurbished carbs have undergone a thorough inspection. Any damaged parts that would effect performance have been replaced and the carbs are solvent cleaned before being wet-flow-tested on Holley’s state-of-the-art flow benches allowing them to be recalibrated to new carb specs. Winners announced in 2011 Car Design Awards competition

The finalists had all entered a contest which asked them to create a design against one of eight briefs coming from both domestic and global OEMs. The awards ceremony, which was held at the Shanghai auto museum, included delegates and judges from domestic and international OEMs and finalist students.
Seat unveils electric Altea, Leon plug-in hybrid (2011)
Mon, 14 Nov 2011Seat has unveiled a pair of prototype electric cars to underline its commitment to EVs: the Altea XL Electric Ecomotive full electric car and the Leon TwinDrive Ecomotive plug-in hybrid. Martorell has also confirmed plans to build hybrids in 2015 and electric cars from 2016. They'll be designed, developed and manufactured in Spain, as the VW group devolves green car centres of excellence away from Germany.
Jaguar Land Rover build the millionth car at Halewood – a Range Rover Evoque
Sat, 30 Nov 2013The millionth car produced at Halewood – a Range Rover evoque The Jaguar Land Rover Plant in Halawood was once best know for churning out the now defunct Jaguar X-Type – which it did until the X-Type was pensioned off in 2009 – but more recently its become home to the Land Rover Freelander 2 and the new Range Rover Evoque. And with sales of the Evoque still powering forward it’s no surprise the the millionth car to come off the production line at Halewood this week is an Evoque. In fact, it’s a white Range Rover Evoque Dynamic with a Fuji White paint job, ebony alloys, Firenze Red roof and mirrors and red and black interior which is being donated to Cancer Research UK.
