Holley .130" High Flow Needle & Seat. One new viton needle & seat with gaskets for externally adjusted floats. This needle & seat is used on Holley 2 & 4 barrel gasoline carbs and flows 50% more fuel at 6 PSI than a .110" needle & seat. This will also fit similar styled Avenger, Barry Grant, Demon, AED and QFT carbs. Parts are gathering dust in my garage. Electric cars get a £500 million government cash boost – but will it get spent?
Mon, 05 May 2014The new BMW i3 EV (pictured) will be subsidised until 2017. The subsidy of up to £5000 paid to buyers of electric cars has been with us for three years, but it hasn’t had much impact on EV sales and it did look like the government had decided to scrap it all together. But it looks like the coalition has allowed Nick Clegg to have his way with EV subsides in a move that will see £500 million injected in to promoting and supporting electric cars in the UK in the next few years.
Vauxhall Insignia facelift stars at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show
Wed, 11 Sep 2013Ten years on from the very first Insignia concept, unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show back in 2003, Vauxhall is showcasing a new, facelifted Insignia here at Frankfurt 2013. Part of the update to the Insignia is a new internet connectivity feature, which should make life on the road for travelling professionals a bit easier – now you can locate your nearest non-VAT qualifying hot food snack retailer in next to no time… We’re also fans of the rationalised trim range, down from 14 grades to eight for the new car. While the Insignia’s updated engine range boasts impressive efficiency (as we’ll see in a minute), we can’t help wondering if this might have been a good time to introduce a hybrid or range-extender powertrain, trumping Ford and its forthcoming Mondeo Hybrid in the process.

It’s all done in a very good cause – BBC Children in Need – and the sum raised, for what is effectively a four day jaunt in decent Ferraris, is simply astonishing. This year Chris and the Ferraris raised a whopping £1.1 million for Children in Need thanks to the generosity of those who bid to get one of the places in Chris’s Ferrari trip round South East England.
