The carb is in good used condition. It has sat for years and I'm sure it could use a quick rebuild. It's a 4160 model from the late 1960's or 1970's. List 7987. Date code 0749, either March of 1969 or March of 1979. Electric choke with vacuum secondary's. The linkage works as it is supposed to. Includes a new adapter and gaskets and some carb parts in a bag.

     This is a Holley 4160 List 7987 600 CFM carb with adapter & parts, electric choke & vacuum secondary's. The carb is in good used condition. It has sat for years and I'm sure it could use a quick rebuild. It's a 4160 model from the late 1960's or 1970's. List 7987. Date code 0749, either March of 1969 or March of 1979. Electric choke with vacuum secondary's. The linkage works as it is supposed to. Includes a new adapter and gaskets and some carb parts in a bag. The adapter adapts Holley, Edelbrock and Carter AFB carbs to a 4 barrel Rochester intake and a lot of people use them for spacers.

BMW was one of the brands which pioneered variable-ratio power steering; in essence, it changes the ratio between the driver's inputs at the wheel and the rate at which turns are made at the rack.

Porsche 918 infotainment system to be based on HTML5

While some automakers, like Ford and General Motors, are beginning to open up their code to outside developers via application programming interfaces, Porsche's taking a very interesting route for the 918 Spyder's infotainment system. The the hybrid supercar's dashboard interface uses the same code that the modern Internet runs on: HTML5. Germany's AutoBild reports that Porsche cites the ease of programming as part of their rationale for the system; smartphone integration is another.

The Peugeot Urban Crossover previews the Peugeot 2008 Peugeot has revealed the Urban Crossover Concept at the Beijing Motor Show which  previews the Peugeot 2008 Compact SUV. We’ve already had the news that Peugeot won’t be building an estate or convertible version of the new 208, but they will be building an SUV and its almost certain to be badged the Peugeot 2008. And if we’re not very much mistaken, the Peugeot Urban Crossover Concept revealed today in Beijing is, minus a few concept fripperies and with a quick badge change, the new Peugeot 2008.
