This auction is for a good used Holley carb for a spread bore intake manifold usually on GM cars and trucks. It came off a running vehicle, he just swapped on a Rochester carb instead. It will need a rebuild and checked over. I am selling for a friend but do have this in my possession in case you need more info or pictures. Drayson Racing aiming for Electric car World Land Speed Record
Thu, 30 May 2013The Drayson B12 69/EV – heading to RAF Elvington to break the EV land speed record. One of the best uses for electric car technology is to deliver copious amounts of instant torque for track cars – far more than an ICE engine manages – and Drayson Racing Technology is aiming to prove how much that electric power can help by taking its Drayson B12 69/EV to RAF Elvington on 25th June to attempt to break the land speed record for an EV. That record – 175mph – has stood since 1975 (which probably shows how little EV technology has really moved on in the last 40 years), but the low-drag version of the Drayson electric Le Mans prototype is aiming to break that down the 1.86 mile runway at Elvington.

Fri, 21 Jan 2011Pagani Huayra Tease 4 - the sketch and the poetic pontification Although we confessed to getting more than a little bored with the Pagani Huayra tease, we really have no choice but to see it through to the end as we’ve done the first three – and there is only one more to go before the reveal on 26th January. So far we’ve had moody, close-up imagery of the interior detail and a few shots in the last video of the exterior. Nothing to give the game away too much, although we’re pretty sure we’ve already seen much of what the Huayra has to offer in the spy shots that have floated around in the last year.
