Up for bids is this  nice Holley carb that came on a 340 Duster that I bought 3-4 years ago. I went with a more streetable carb with vacuum

secondaries.  I'm not into racing so I need to let it go. I tried it out on a 318 with closed chambered heads, and it fired right up.

I would say it is in very good condition. Hopefully I won't need it anytime soon. Starting bid is reasonable with no reserve.

Shipping is for lower 48 states only. Thanks for looking.

Hyundai Scrappage – amazing trade-ins

Fri, 22 May 2009

Jaguar XJS - traded for a Hyundai i10 under the Scrappage scheme But it does seem to be producing good results for Hyundai, with their Hyundai i10 flying out of showrooms. Which is no real surprise. The £2,000 Scrappage allowance is a big chunk of such a cheap car, and is probably achievable for a high number of owners of ‘Clunkers’.

Alfa MiTo Sportiva & Giulietta Sportiva added to range

Thu, 23 Aug 2012

Alfa Romeo has added a new trim level in the UK – Sportiva – for both the Alfa MiTo and the Alfa Giulietta. Two cars we like very much – depending on trim and engine – are the Alfa Romeo MiTo and Giulietta. Both offer style and fun at decent prices and make a nice change from Teutonic sameness.

McLaren MP4-12C – Testing video

Tue, 23 Feb 2010

We have video of the McLaren MP4-12C out testing We had a real flurry of activity last year with reveal of McLaren’s first real new road car since the mid ’90s – the McLaren MP4-12C. Yes, we had the McLaren Mercedes SLR until last year, but that was best described as McLaren’s efforts to make a Mercedes, bloated, corporate concept of a supercar work. It wasn’t really what McLaren are about, which is cutting edge technology in a lightweight clothing.
