NASCAR's three-race, two-venue weekend has a somewhat different face now that Carl Edwards has re-signed with Roush Fenway Racing and Brad Keselowski has been told to skip the weekend's Nationwide Series race in Iowa. Edwards is at Pocono all day Friday and part of Saturday to prepare for Sunday afternoon's Good Sam Emergency 500.

Audi is planning to return the Quattro to its lineup some 30 years after the original model first appeared, Autoweek sources say. September's Frankfurt motor show is shaping up as the likely backdrop for the reveal; the car looks like it could be one of the German automaker's most exciting cars in quite some time. Word is sales will start in 2014.

GM to build small Cadillac in Michigan

UPDATED -- General Motors Co. will spend $190 million in a Michigan plant to build a small sedan for Cadillac, the automaker said Thursday. GM CEO Dan Akerson made the announcement at the Lansing Grand River assembly plant.
