New BMW M1 isn’t happening
Fri, 16 Dec 2011BMW won’t be building a new M1 A new BMW M1 Supercar has been mooted for some time – BMW even produced the M1 Homage in 2008 – but it’s not going to happen. Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X FQ-400 released
Wed, 27 May 2009Mitsubishi has released the fastest Evo in the UK market - the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X FQ-400 And now it’s getting really serious. The 2.0 litre, turbocharged MIVEC engine in the FQ-400 will propel this four-door saloon to 60mph in around 3.7 seconds. That’s on a par with a Nisan GT-R, a Ferrari F430 and significantly quicker than an Aston Martin DBS.
Volvo's autonomous car is boring enough to work
Fri, 16 May 2014Volvo is a bit of an enigma. The Chinese-owned Swedish automaker releases a stunning concept from time to time, and we're often pleasantly surprised by the Volvos that enter out test fleet, but it hasn't done much to generate sales numbers -- or buzz -- in the North American market. Maybe that's because Volvo is too busy looking down the road to focus on selling cars now.
