Selling my 1250 holley dominator. This carb is a standard holley 1250, 2.125 throttle blade. Converted over to a 2 circuit with BLP billet metering blocks. Comes with a billet 8 hole booster, .170 booster stake tubes, .150 Needle and seat, and is currently set up for Q16. This carb just went 8.67 on my small block at Joliet. If you win the auction I will set carb up for for engine and fuel choice and use new gaskets. Just bolt it on and go have fun.

E85 makes inroads on cost and availability

Three years ago, we embarked on a Midwest road trip in search of what was then the Holy Grail of fuel: E85. Our findings weren't too positive--there were far more E85-compatible vehicles on the road in 2006 (5 million) than there were E85 pumps to fuel them (about 700 out of some 200,000 fuel stations nationwide). In addition, those burning the mix of 15 percent gasoline and 85 percent ethanol were paying a pretty penny for their earth-friendly ways, losing about 15 percent in fuel economy while often paying the same price as for regular unleaded.

The 2014 Alfa Romeo 4C will serve as the official safety car at the 2013 World Superbike Championship, which will be taking place at Silverstone this weekend. The last time Alfa Romeo fans got a glimpse of the 4C was just a couple weeks ago at the Goodwood Festival of Speed , but at Silverstone the car will be wearing a stylish white matte livery with red, white, and green colors from the Italian flag on its roof and hood. Alfa Romeo is no stranger to the world of bike racing, having sponsored a number of events in the past.

You might think the steering wheel has done a pretty good job of directing cars for the past century. But now a team of researchers from the University of Stuttgart is attempting to reinvent the wheel. The scientists have come up with a touchscreen steering wheel, which they reckon could replace the humble wheel with stereo and cruise controls.
