This time, with Gymkhana 5, the good Mr Block takes his 650hp Ford Fiesta on a blat round every familiar landmark in the streets of San Francisco, and manages to do it much more impressively than Karl Malden or Michael Douglas ever did.

Renault's budget brand, Dacia, is set to further its position as Europe's fastest growing automotive manufacturer with the introduction of the Lodgy. The five- or seven-seat MPV will be introduced at the forthcoming Geneva motorshow and promises to offer the brand's trademark qualities of value for money and robustness. Externally, there are visual links between the Lodgy and the products of its parent company, with the car sharing a similar silhouette to the Grand Scenic.

The auction by Ferrari to raise funds for victims of the earthquake in the Emilia Romagna region has raised €1.8 million. The Ferrari auction to raise money for victims of the earthquake in the Emilia Romagna region in Italy only kicked off two weeks ago, but has already ended with a total of over €1.8 million raised. The vast majority of the funds raised came from the sale of the Ferrari 599XX which sold to an American buyer for €1.4 million – almost a bargain.
