The needle and seat assemblies that are installed in Holley performance Carburetors can satisfactorily control fuel pressure up to about 8 PSI. If the fuel pump is putting out more than 8 PSI, a regulator should be used to keep the fuel pressure within safe limits and avoid the possibility of flooding. Holley manufactures a number of regulators for most any need. A street regulator is available in chrome finish. A performance regulator is available in chrome finish. Both regulators feature a 3/8 Inch NPT inlet port and two 3/8 Inch NPT outlet ports with a 0.220 Inch restriction. The street version regulates pressure from 1 To 4 PSI while the performance version regulates pressure from 4-1/2 To 9 PSI.
