Here we have an all BRAND NEW HP style, QFT 1050 squarebore (4150), 4 barrel, double pumper (mechanical secondary) carburetor professionally set up for street and strip use. This is one of my custom builds consisting of a new Quick Fuel Technology aluminum, contoured, HP style main body for maximum flow and enhanced booster signal. It will flow 1050 cfm and is dyno-proven to 700+ horsepower. This is NOT the cheap Chinese knock-off junk sold under the brand name "Pro Comp". These parts are 100% Quick Fuel Technology, machined in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and are first quality. Please call the number below with any questions or concerns regarding your application. I can set this carburetor up to work best with your combo, as these are custom built one at a time. I usually have two or more in stock, just email or call the number below for availability.

It has been assembled with high-flow .130" needle & seat assemblies, 50cc pumps, #37 squirters with wide brown pump cams, blue non-stick bowl and block gaskets, nylon bowl screw gaskets, and vent baffle. The jetting is 84 up front with a 6.5" Hg high-flow power valve, and 92 in the rear with the power valve circuit blocked. The mounting gaskets are included as shown.

   Here's a list of features;

QFT polished lightweight aluminum main body with screw-in air bleeds. .076" idle and .030" high speed bleeds installed.

Red billet aluminum metering blocks that are custom calibrated for maximum performance.

4 corner idle for fine tuning your idle circuit.

Heavy duty cast aluminum baseplate that is much stronger than a stock Holley piece.

Teflon coated throttle shafts, stainless steel throttle blades, and loctited button-head screws for increased flow due to decreased turbulence.

Lightweight aluminum racing style fuel bowls with sight windows that will not yellow. No more fumbling with sight plugs!

Aluminum inlet fittings. Uses a standard Holley model 4150, inverted flare fuel line with 5/8"-18 flare nut.

This carburetor weighs just over 7-1/2 lbs., while a typical cast zinc carb weighs in at 11 to 13 lbs.

Please email or call me at my shop with any questions, as I will be glad to help you with your setup. I can be reached at 724-523-2947 from 9 am 'til 7 pm, eastern standard time for tech or service help.

I welcome all potential bidders to check my feedback. My feedback from carburetor and parts sales is 100%, and I've sold hundreds in the past few years. I am the owner/operator of a one-man shop and my carbs are built with pride one at a time. Please see my other auctions for more great deals.

      Thanks, Steve

Ford Mondeo Vignale Concept at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show

Wed, 11 Sep 2013

With the marques in its erstwhile premium brand portfolio having moved on to pastures (and owners) new, Ford looks a little lacking in the options when it comes to challenging at the plusher end of the global car market. Vignale is the Blue Oval’s response. “A unique upscale product and ownership experience” is how Ford was selling Vignale as the covers came off the Mondeo Vignale Concept car at Frankfurt 2013.

2013 Mercedes E Class Facelift: The Video

Sat, 15 Dec 2012

We have the first video of the 2013 Mercedes E Class facelift showing the changes Mercedes has made more clearly. Not just the usual nip and tuck you’d expect in a mid-cycle facelift, but real sheet metal changes and proper upgrades as well as the usual lights and bumpers stuff. But however many photos we publish of the 2013 E Class, nothing really gives you a feel for the changes until you see them in the flesh or on the move.

Mercedes CLC (2008): first official pictures

Sun, 27 Jan 2008

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 27 January 2008 18:00 This is Mercedes’ new CLC, only it's not quite so new. Underneath it’s really the old Sports Coupe with a nose from the C-class grafted on to give it more modern engines and help it pass the latest crash regulations. In fact, the new CLC has exactly the same wheelbase (2715mm) as the old Sports Coupe, and the same size boot. Money.
