These Holley transmission kickdown brackets are used to mount an overdrive transmission's kickdown cable to the carburetor. They are made of steel and feature a gold iridited finish. These brackets will fit most Holley carburetors, with the exception of Dominators and any carburetor with a factory-installed Ford kickdown

Roush unveils new versions of high-performance Mustangs

Roush is synonymous with go-fast Mustangs, and on Wednesday, the company unveiled its latest--and potentially greatest--steeds, based on the 2010 Ford Mustang. Roush will offer three versions at launch, topped by the 435-hp 427R Mustang. Prices will range from $34,847 for the Stage 1 model to a starting price of $43,051 for the 427R.

AT&T launches campaign against texting and driving

AT&T has launched an 11-minute video designed to augment its anti-texting-and-driving campaign launched in March. The video is intended to reach consumers before New Year's Eve. Called "The Last Text," the video tells stories about people whose lives were adversely affected by texting while driving, including the parents of Mariah West, who died after texting "Where u at?" to a friend.

Rule Number One of advertising is, "kick 'em when they're down." Or was that Sun Tzu...or Bone Thugs-N-Harmony? Either way, while Cadillac catches flak for its controversial ELR ad, the above Ford ad with a C-Max Energi is either a shameless ripoff or a smashing riposte. (This, of course, depends on your affinity for European-derived plug-in crossovers.) Instead of a white guy, it's a black lady.
