With just a few hours to go before the 2014 Range Rover Sport makes its live debut driving through New York, we have more official photos of Land Rover’s new sporty RR. So with all the leaks that have gone on with the new RRS we thought we might as well post a few more photos of the new Range Rover Sport that have dropped in to our inbox tonight. This time the photos are higher resolution and include studio shots which gives us a better view of the detail on the new Sport, much of which is either from the new Range Rover or the Evoque, tweaked and made individual to the Sport.

Although it sounds like an early 80s rap MC with dirty habits, this concept is actually designed to showcase a possible all-terrain vehicle able to transport keen mountain bikers to extreme locations – as well as providing shelter to fix their rides under its twin gull-wing doors with built-in LED lamps.

With the car world in turmoil, and buyers running scared of high performance cars, most of the car makers around the world are shelving their high-end projects until things settle down. Honda has announced that it has put its NSX replacement on ice (although it is apparently still going to show it at Detroit) and other manufacturers are concentrating on their frugal products. But Toyota is taking a different tack.
