Umea Institute of Design prepares for annual Degree Exhibition

The Institute of Design is housed in a converted power station and purpose-built premises on the banks of the Umea River. The school has an atmosphere that is open and light, and all students have their own personal workspace within this environment. There are well-equipped workshops for woodwork, metal, plastic, clay modelling, assembly and painting.

The 2011 Chevy Camaro Convertible - V8 only in the UK It’s been a few years in the making, but Chevrolet has finally taken the wraps off the convertible version of the latest  Chevy Camaro ahead of its debut at the LA Motor Show next week. The Chevrolet Camaro Convertible – although no one will call it anything other than the Camaro Convertible, or maybe Chevy Camaro Convertible – goes in to production in January and will arrive in the UK and Europe in 2011. GM claim that the work they’ve done to make the Camaro work as a soft top has resulted in a  car that has better torisonal rigidity than a 3-Series Covertible, thanks to stuff like a tower-to-tower brace under the hood, a transmission support reinforcement brace.

The Chevrolet Aveo RS Concept will appear at the Detroit Motor Show It really does say something about the changing car landscape in the US that the reveal of a US hot hatch is something that people are sitting up and taking notice of. True, it may be badged a Chevy but this is a Daewoo Chevy, not a gas-guzzling big V8 Chevy. Still, never mind.
