Kia Sorento (2015): the first glimpse of third-gen SUV

Only this pair of shadowy teaser photographs has been issued ahead of the new Sorento’s debut in Korea at the end of August. But this is a global car and will be shown at the 2014 Paris motor show too in October, ahead of UK sales in spring 2015.

Let’s start with the tech: BMW claims the new 5-series is the first car in its class to feature start-stop tech, an eight-speed automatic transmission and double wishbone front suspension. The new 5-series is also the first BMW to get the company's new Park Assist tech, slotting the car into a space by twiddling the wheel, leaving the driver to operate on the accelerator and brake pedals. Carroll held hostage by Tesla Model S

Autoweek's senior online editor Rory Carroll was stranded Tuesday morning by a charger stuck in a Tesla Model S. It won't release from the car, and because of that, the car won't run. He took to Twitter this morning for ideas, but has yet to receive a good one.
