2010 Cadillac SRX: A new standard for GM's luxury crossovers
Mon, 10 Aug 2009A few years after Lexus touched off the luxury-crossover craze with its RX 300, Cadillac chose to offer the SRX--a completely different, angular tall wagon with a rear liftback built on its rear-drive CTS sedan chassis. Although the SRX was excellent, its showing in a marketplace seeking stylish RX-like crossovers wasn't good. We had ‘official’ shots of the Aston Martin Rapide in April, and now we have an interior shot. Not the biggest – or most enlightening – shot, but they do seem to be real, rather than the work of an enthusiastic amateur Photoshopper.
GM posts $7.6 billion profit for 2011
Thu, 16 Feb 2012General Motors on Thursday posted a $7.6 billion profit for 2011, while recording its smallest quarterly profit of the year in the fourth quarter. North American earnings nearly doubled.
