This is the yearly update disc put out by Honda/Acura to update the white-label DVD navigation database in their cars. This disc has a database that was created in 2012 and was released for sale in October 2012. The actual database version is listed as 4.B1 and the software version is 2.21.00. Please note this is not the most current disc available (version 4.C0 is, which just came out in October 2013), however it is the second most-recent edition available for the white-label DVD-based navigation systems. Also included is a software patch disc (only needed if you are upgrading from version 4.20D or earlier on some 2005/2006 vehicles) This originally sold on the Honda/Acura web sites for $149 plus tax and shipping, which made it over $170. If you don't need the absolute latest of updates, and if you're using version 4.A2 or older then this is an update for you. Also, if you need a replacement for a lost, stolen or damaged disc, this will save you some money. This disc is an OEM original and NOT A COPY. This disc will work in the Honda/Acura DVD-based navigation systems in the following vehicles:
This disc only works with Honda/Acura DVD systems that use the "white label" DVD disc. If your current DVD label is any other color, this disc will not work in your system. Consult your local Honda/Acura dealer first if you have any questions. |

This disc is used but in excellent condition. It was used in my 2005 Acura MDX from October 2012 - October 2013 and was handled twice--once to put it in the car and once to take it out. The software patch disc was never used as I did not need it. I just upgraded to the newest version and no longer need this.
