Condition of Item(s):

    • Some light rust and corrosion
    • No cracks or breaks 
    • Both bearings are rusted and hard to move
    • Some scrapes and scratches 
    • Drum has some rust
    • There is one dent on the end of the hub
    • The drum shroud has two dents, but they will not effect the performance of the drum
    • Studs are in good shape

With a very strong Lewis Hamilton on pole in the 2012 Singapore Grand Prix it looks like McLaren are in a dominant position. But are they? McLaren has been strong in the last few races, with Hamilton taking three poles in four and Button winning from lights to flag in Spa, followed by what should have been a second place behind Hamilton at Monza if his car had made it to the end of the race.

We’re hearing that McLaren is ready to close the order book for their P1 supercar before the specification – or the car – have been fully revealed. We’ve had the reveal of the P1 Concept – and seen it floating round the world as McLaren drum up potential customers with enormous bottomless pockets – and we’ve even seen the P1 on the move as McLaren shake down the development version of the P1. But so far we haven’t had the full specs of the P1 revealed and, as far as we can tell, McLaren hasn’t even divulged the full details of the P1′s power and performance to potential customers – no matter how wealthy they are.

Mercedes-Benz courts Renault for new Smart model based on Twingo

Mercedes-Benz is set to join forces with Renault in a deal aimed at providing its underdeveloped Smart division with a contemporary-engineered front-engine/front-wheel-drive platform as the basis for a frugal new Forfour model. The new Smart, due out in 2013, is planned to sit on a lightly modified version of the Renault Twingo’s underpinnings, complete with a 93.3-inch wheelbase. Speaking about the new car over the weekend, a highly placed Mercedes-Benz official told AutoWeek: “It’s a key component in plans to grow the Smart brand.
