Honda Cb500 Cb 500 Cb550 Cb 550 Carbs Carburetors. Bodies Restored Matte Black on 2040-parts.com
Ontario, California, US
Beautiful
set of CB550K Carbs in great shape. Matte Black powder coated bodies, bracket, tops & bottoms. All other hardware was re-plated
in zinc. New hoses, o-rings and zinc
screws. This set has 100 main jets and 38 idles. Really nice carbs. Installed on a test bench motor and synchronized. Resist the urge to buy a core and have someone put a kit in it and hope it runs well. If you do the math $100 for a core avg, $300 to put kits in and $200 to synchronize, is a bit much. Buy mine and save some headaches. I have worked out any issues and you know you are getting a great set that runs and does not have those "secret" problems. I think these are the best rebuilds anyone could buy. I am in the business of doing super-quality rebuilds only. Tell me
what you will be using these on and I will jet accordingly. I just love the show bike quality of these rebuilds. I
have over 35 years of experience in building motorcycles and motorcycle
carburetors. I am truly a restoration specialist . I take pride in my
work,
and my work speaks for itself. Unlike most, I am willing to show you
high definition pictures of the exact carbs you will receive and a video of them running on a real motor! Click on the first picture to see the video of them running.
I accept re-build-able cores and depending on condition will credit up to $100 off cost if you call me first. Happy bidding! Keith 909/988-8070

Toyota iQ concept
Tue, 11 Sep 2007By Tim Pollard Motor Shows 11 September 2007 02:53 Toyota iQ: the lowdown The Japanese scored one of the very few surprises of the Frankfurt show this year, with the titchy iQ concept car that previews Toyota’s new sub-Aygo city car. It’s one of our favourite cars at the show, bristling with intelligent new thinking and design flourishes to make small cars interesting again. And the best news is that Toyota has committed to building a production version, probably due in European showrooms by 2009.

Car making mysterious noises? There's an app for that
Wed, 30 Apr 2014You may pride yourself on your ability to diagnose a developing engine problem by sound alone, and then replicate said mystery sound, Click-and-Clack-style, to amuse/annoy your friends and coworkers. ClingClanger is a new phone app that's designed for the rest of the world -- those who can't identify piston slap by sound and are startled by the clicking caused by a dying battery. The natural impulse is to simply crank up the radio and hope the noise/problem goes away.
