Honda Cb750 Series Speedometer And Tachometer Renewal Applique Set. on 2040-parts.com
Vancouver, Washington, US
Why not replace those faded and/or crazed instrument faces on your classic bike? (Choose any one of the Honda CB750 series from 1970 through the 1978 model year – K1 through K8 and F1 though F3). We do not offer appliques for the CB750K0 which has black faces and bluish numbers and are somewhat smaller instruments. Only average craft skills are required to process these appliques and complete instructions are furnished for opening, and closing the instruments. The process also allows you to convert KMH speedometers to MPH or MPH to KMH. Be aware however that, of course the odometers will continue to roll in the original configuration but the speeds will be correct at all times in the selected scale. This auction consists of two self-adhesive polyester appliques, one for the speedometer and one for the tachometer. They are pretrimmed and prepunched, except for the odometer slots and the indicator light holes (if so equipped) which are best left to trimming out after application. Properly applied they will restore the cosmetic appearance of faded and/or crazed instrument faces. Even warped faces can easily be flattened unless they are also distorted. The photo on this particular auction listing is only one of the models offered. Some sets have indicators in the faces and most do not. Winning bidder to pay in U.S. currency with free packaging & first-class shipping to anyplace in the world.

Ferrari to revive GTO name
Tue, 16 Mar 2010Ferrari is set to return the evocative GTO (Gran Turismo Omolagato) name to its lineup on a limited-edition, two-seat version of the F599 Fiorano GTB. The new car, conceived to run bodywork and mechanical components from the Italian carmaker's race-bound 599XX, is expected to make its public debut at the Paris motor show in September--marking the first time the GTO badge has been applied to one of Ferrari's road cars since the launch of the much-revered 288 GTO in 1984. Among the changes brought to the new car is a series of carbon-fiber exterior panels, a stripped-out interior and specially developed alloy wheels--all aimed at lowering the weight by 132 pounds from the 3,718 pounds of the F599 Fiorano GTB.
