Also removes the extra weight of the cumbersome Air Injection System, while making  the engine look cleaner. OEM's use clean air injection that adds oxygen to the exhaust. For this to properly work, newer stock exhaust systems have a catalytic converter inside that completes the process. Once an aftermarket exhaust system is installed or the stock system is modified, the added oxygen does little. Instead, it often leads to "backfiring". By removing the clean air injection one can nearly eliminate all backfiring. Also, since the clear air injection is adding extra air from the air box you can gain some increase in air box pressure when at speed.

We took it to the streets to see how Nissan's scattershot small car strategy – which sees a range of four models occupying a similar space physically and fiscally – plays out.

Formula E, the new elite racing series for electric single-seaters, has got the FIA’s backing, confirmed the major cities that will host the races, and now we've finally seen the crucial racecar. This is the Spark-Renault SRT_01E, a joint project developed between Renaultsport and Spark Racing Technology (SRT) which has just been unveiled at the 2013 Frankfurt motor show. There’s also been input from F1 legends Williams and McLaren, plus Dallara (which builds all the cars for the IndyCar series in the US).
