This is 19 batteries that came out of a first generation honda insight. I thought I was having trouble with my IMA so I purchased a new set of batteries not understanding I only needed to replace one stick. After I removed the existing batteries I discovered that only one was bad. The remaining 19 batteries appear to be ok. They all test above 7.4 volts with several testing above 7.6. From what I have read that is still good. I have included some pics of how I am testing with results. I am not an expert on hybrid batteries, if there is another test I need to perform then message me. If I have the tools to do a requested test I will be happy to do so.

Tue, 16 Sep 2014

The makers of a new movie charting America's postwar car designers are seeking donations to make the project become reality. The film's makers are hoping to raise $100,000 to make American Dreaming, a documentary movie that aims to tell the story of the lives of the men and women who worked in automotive design between 1948 and 1973. The film will be produced by Detroit artist Robert Edwards, former Detroiter Greg Salustro, and cinematographer Jim Toscano, and will include interviews with the men and women who worked in automotive design studios at the time.

Chevy Volt will do 230mpg

Tue, 11 Aug 2009

GM are claiming 230 mpg for the Chevy Volt The premise is that the vast majority of buyers for the Chevy Volt will do no more than 40 miles a day. Which just happens to be the range that the Volt has. So I suppose they could have worked out the cost of the electricity to fully charge the Volt, converted that in to the cost of petrol and come to the conclusion that it does 230mpg.

First Sight: Citroën C4

Fri, 16 Jul 2004

The Citroen C4 is a new car that shall be formally unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in September as the replacement for the Xsara that has been quietly competing in the European C-class for six years. The C4 was previewed in Geneva with the C4 Sport (a WRX themed concept car based very closely on the production 3-door C4) and less directly with the C6 Lignage Citroen concept car of Geneva 1999 which introduced many of the new car's exterior and interior design themes on a larger vehicle concept. Sitting between the C3 and C5 in Citroen's range, the C4 platform will also be shared by Citroen's partner Peugeot for the 307 replacement.
