SHIPPING & PAYMENT: Payment is due within 3 days of purchase unless arrangements have been made prior to close of auction. I generally ship within 24 hours of receiving payment, many times the same day. I will communicate with you when your merchandise has been shipped and am happy to combine shipping on multiple items whenever practical. Careful packaging is important to me. I don't make money on shipping, and in all cases I cover the extra cost of shipping if it is more than what is shown on the shipping calculator.

REFUNDS: I am not a department or big box store but an individual finding and selling unique and collectible items. I describe them to the best of my knowledge. Customer satisfaction is important to me and I will provide refunds within 14 days if the item was misrepresented in the description. I do not give refunds because you've changed your mind about the item or had an attack of buyers remorse.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: I have successfully shipped to dozens of countries but due to tracking concerns, I only ship via USPS priority international. The exception is Canada, where I am happy to ship smaller items (under 4 pounds) via USPS first class international. Please be aware that you are responsible for all customs fees. Although I usually ship within 24 hours of receiving payment you may experience custom related delays, depending on the country where you reside.

Andy Priaulx interview

Fri, 14 Dec 2007

By Motor Shows 14 December 2007 09:00 His racing season might be over for this year, but 33-year-old Andy Priaulx has barely stopped since clinching his third consecutive World Touring Car crown – an incredible feat in a series packed with ex-F1 drivers and touring car winners from various championships. But in-between the award ceremonies, end-of-season parties and test sessions, CAR Online caught up with the Guernsey-based racer ahead of his star turn at this weekend’s Race of Champions. Held at Wembley Stadium on 16 December, RoC sees drivers from disciplines as diverse as Nascar and F1 race head-to-head, country-against-country on what looks like a giant Scalextric set.

From the bowels of the earth--California via Texas, in this case--comes one of the most wonderfully appalling automotive creations we've seen in quite some time. Feast your eyes on the Van. Originally birthed as a 1979 Dodge B200, this claimed 31,000-mile example boasts a two-barrel carb 318 bolted to the requisite Torqueflite automatic, Cragar mags and a CB for callin' out the smokeys.

Tesla pays off its government loans

Thu, 23 May 2013

Tesla paid off the last of its $465 million government loans May 22, nine years ahead of schedule, thus outperforming most U.S. college graduates and the vast majority of American homeowners. Tesla used funds from a stock offering to finish the loan with a whopping bank transfer of $451.8 million Wednesday, pointing out that it was “…the only American car company to have fully repaid the government.” Apparently no one at Tesla was even born when Lee Iacocca paid off Chrysler's $1.2-billion government bailout ahead of schedule back in 1983.
