This is a 1985 Honda CR500 Motor complete. I bought this bike to fix up but money issues have forced me to part it out. This auction is for the motor with the parts pictured only. The motor was missing the flywheel cover when I got it so I just bought a used one which is included(cover has wear hole that needs some epoxy). I also got a used clutch cable for it which is included too. Motor has good compression but I have not removed the head to look at cylinder. I did make sure it had spark and thru some starting fluid in it and started it for a short time. So it will run as is -do have to mention the kicker gear misses about a third of the time -probably need a new gear or spring -I have run bikes like that many times in the past but with a 500 it`s a bit of a pain in the foot when it misses. You can see it has a aftermarket flywheel from the outer lip weight -the cr500 was notorious for high rpm head shake and these were added to smooth out the shake. Went thru and cleaned out the carb but haven`t run any gas thru it yet -looks pretty nice and clean -but is missing the chokes plastic pull knob. Had put water in it while on bike and impellar is working proper and no water mixed with the case oil. As you can see I was about to run her but things came up so now shes for parts or repair or even use. So included is motor-carb-throttle-clutch cable and perch-cdi-coil-shifter-kicker-and exhaust flange with springs. Everything you need for it to run in your cart project or restore project. 1985 first yr of water cooled 500 -awesome stomper or baja motors. Everything as pictured -will be somewhat greasey and dirty when you rec it so expect it please -if ya want new buy new. Alfa MiTo TwinAir arrives

The new Alfa Romeo MiTo TwinAir is a logical move by Alfa to produce a MiTo with green credentials but which still offer a decent drive and a dose of fun. In the Fiat 500, the TwinAir engine is a bit of a hoot, sounding a bit like a cross between a lawnmower and a 2-stroke and with bags of character and lively to boot.
Saleen Performance to end S302 Ford Mustang production, prepares to expand

Revstone Industries, owner of Saleen Performance Vehicles, said on Wednesday that it will stop taking orders for the car in May and will finish building Saleen Mustangs in suburban Detroit by the fall. But the Lexington, Ky.-based company is not getting out of the performance parts and merchandise businesses and isn't abandoning the vehicle-upfitting field, spokesman Pete Borum said.

The new five-seater Symbol features the carmaker's latest design cues such as the larger front logo that sits in a more upright position in the middle of a wide, black and chrome-trimmed grille strip. Another black chrome-trimmed grille strip that integrates the fog lamps is located underneath the license plate while the headlamps taper slightly into the side.
