Portland, Oregon, United States
Condition:Remanufactured

This listing is for re-facing 8 customer supplied valve tappets. Your worn tappets will be restored to new condition using precision radius surface grinding. This is an excellent choice in cases where new tappets are either expensive, hard to find or completely unavailable. Flat spots, scoring and pitting on the ends of tappets will ruin the tips of valves. New valves or re-ground tips on used valves won't last unless the tappets are also in good condition.  2nd picture is a before/after comparison.

Once this service is purchased simply ship your tappets to our shop and they will be completed and sent back within 1-2 business days. We offer complete cylinder head machine services and custom valve train components specializing in vintage Japanese applications. Thanks for looking!

Thu, 28 May 2009

We test the new Ford Fiesta ECOnetic to see if it's as 'Green' as it seems But how good would it actually be to live with? We all know that headline fuel consumptions can be misleading, but was this new ‘Eco’ Fiesta really all that economical?
