In fact Volvo UK watched sales of the old V70-based XC70 rise after the introduction of the full-blown XC90 off-roader. Porsche style vice-president Michael Mauer has revealed how the new Macan's design was influenced by racecars. In this new video, Mauer and members of his design team explain some of the Macan's development and the team's desire to create "a true Porsche in each segment – a true sports car". Classic Porsche design cues were immediately obvious upon seeing the Macan in the metal in Tokyo and Los Angeles – including its rear and interior – and Mitja Borkert, director advanced design style, identifies other recognizable features.

2013 Range Rover: First Video

With the 2013 Range Rover getting its detail reveal today at the Royal Ballet School in London we have the first video. We’ll have more detail later today (we expect) on exactly what Land Rover has achieved with the new Range Rover, especially the effect the huge weight loss has had on the performance of the 4.4 litre V8 diesel, the 5.0 litre Supercharged petrol and the new 3.0 litre diesel.
