there are some generic cdi units out there that (from what im seeing) work on the fl250 my unit was designed from an original new o.e.m. cdi unit. you wouldnt go to a brain surgeon to get your car fixed--so why would you buy your cdi unit from anyone other than someone that specalizes in odyssey parts and only odyssey parts. this is not just a cdi unit that i found that works--if you own a 81-84 fl250 this is the cdi unit you want. no damaged stators, no burnt pistons--dont take any chances. Hyundai announces high-perfomance diesels
Wed, 05 Nov 2008By Ben Whitworth Motor Industry 05 November 2008 11:56 Hyundai will significantly boost its diesel appeal in 2009 with the arrival of two new Euro V compliant powerplants that will slot into the next-gen Tucson, Sonata, Santa Fe and i30. The new 2.0 and 2.2-litre diesels feature a third generation common rail system with piezo-electric injectors to deliver fuel at 1800-bar. Fitted with a particulate trap as standard, the 2.0-litre unit develops 181bhp and 289lb ft, while the bigger 2.2-litre unit pumps out 197bhp and 335lb ft of torque.

Fri, 27 Mar 2009Fiat has announced UK Car Prices for the 500C - and the UK is the first in Europe to get the 500C [ad#ad-1] Fiat, on something of a roll at the moment, revealed the latest version of the terrific Fiat 500 – the convertible Fiat 500C – at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this month, and has now revealed prices for the UK. The Fiat 500C will be on the roads by the Summer in the UK – ahead of anywhere in Europe, including Italy – and will no doubt prove to be as successful as its tin-topped siblings. Starting point for the 500C is £11,300, rising to £14,100 for the high-spec ‘Lounge’ version.
Early Mercedes sells for £720,000
Thu, 05 Dec 2013ONE OF the oldest surviving Mercedes cars has sold at auction for an astronomical fee. The Mercedes Simplex 28/32 HPs Phaeton eventually sold for £720,000 at the Coys auction house True Greats sale in London. Still in complete and roadworthy condition, the car was reported to be in superb, drivable condition before its sale, which was the first time it had been auctioned in its near-109-year life.
