A very nice left side heat shield pulled from a 1976 Honda Goldwing with only 13,000 original miles.
The part has very nice chrome but has a few mentionable flaws. First is the streaks shown in photos. I used a little chrome polish and it started to come off but I'll leave the final polishing to the buyer. There is one small ding in the shield that is about 2/3 of the way back shown in the photo. And lastly the inside has some lite surface rust around the center stand opening. Can't be seen when mounted on the bike. All and all a nice part and it looked great on my bike...

Honda CR-Z Mugen (2011): the first sketches

This is our first glimpse of the new, Mugen-tweaked Honda CR-Z. Developed by Mugen Euro, the UK-based arm of Honda’s long-standing tuning partner Mugen, this CR-Z features a whole raft of tweaks to turn it into a hot hybrid. As with the previous UK-spec Civic Type R Mugen, this new Mugen model is currently being touted as a one-off prototype, but just as that Civic was then built in limited numbers the same may happen with the CR-Z – and the individual parts may become available as aftermarket accessories too.

Nissan Leaf recall could force replacement of entire car

Nissan is recalling a total of 211 examples of the the Leaf pure-electric car supplied to the U.S., and another 65 Leafs sold in Canada for a problem involving missing spot welds in the motor compartment. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) says that the front structural member assemblies in these cars could be missing welds in several crucial places, to the left and right of the electric motor. As a result, the affected Leafs might not perform well in a crash.

WITH the launch of its new model just around the corner, Audi has released design sketches as a teaser for its forthcoming third generation TT. The sports coupe has proven to be a popular model for the German firm, and next month will see the unveiling of the latest version at the influential Geneva Motor Show. Although technical details are currently scarce, it’s clear to see that the car’s design is more of an evolutionary step from the current model.
