The standard, base features include: (a) Gel-Coat finish, (b) Custom engineered "Zero-Flex" swing arm retaining OEM single shock (with lifting capabilities) and two new Progressive coil-over helper shocks, improving handling, providing a more confident ride and preserving OEM's ride-height control, (c) High performance, independent front and rear disc brake systems, increasing safety when braking in turns, (d) Custom built lightweight rear-end, reducing un-sprung weight, giving a softer ride, (e) Powder coated structural components, a more durable and longer lasting coating system, (f) Reinforced fiberglass body construction, a rugged and durable product that will last longer, (g) An Extra Large trunk and over-wheel storage, increased storage capacity, (h) OEM tail and signal lights which preserves CLassic GL1800 styling, (i) Detailed installation instructions and parts list, providing improved maintainability, (j) 1 Year Limited Factory Warranty, (k) Refundable $400 core chage upon return of saddle-bag latches, cables, wiring harness and tail lights. SRT Viper production halted amid slow sales
Wed, 19 Mar 2014Chrysler has made the decision to suspend production of the SRT Viper for a least two months, citing slow sales. The move is expected to result in layoffs of 91 hourly workers at Chrysler's Conner Avenue Assembly plant in Detroit. Back in October of 2013, Chrysler cut Viper production by a third, citing slow sales and growing inventories.
