I am selling the instrument panel/Speedometer assembly from my 1993 Honda Helix.  This is in working condition.  Cosmetically it is so-so.  Good from far but rough up close (although it's still really cool especially at night!) Indicators light up.  Turn signals all good.  Gas gauge great. Temp gauge solid. Speedometer all good.  The odometer is not working.  The clock displays time and functions but I have never bothered to set the time so I actually don't know if that's possible.    Also, previous owner got a little messy when spray painting the bike so there is some black residue on the instrument panel.

This would be a great (and cheap)  replacement for your non-functioning panel.  Wiring is great.  The plastic is in great condition.  Thank you!

I'd be happy to combine shipping where possible to save on shipping!

Will your next new car stop itself?

Fri, 03 Aug 2012

Last week in Park City, Utah, a group of us were discussing the chutzpah that some manufacturers have in charging hundreds of dollars for outboard mirrors that dip downward when the vehicle's placed in reverse. The consensus was, “Since the electric motors in the mirrors are already there, and the computers know the car's set to back up, it's only a line of code. A very expensive line of code.” The European Union seems to be thinking along the same lines.

Jaguar 'villainy' ad banned

Wed, 16 Jul 2014

A SECOND JAGUAR ad has been banned in as many months for promoting speed and unsafe driving. The video on Jaguar Land Rover's YouTube channel was titled The Art Of Villainy and featured actor Tom Hiddleston playing a suave villain while driving a Jaguar F-Type in an underground car park and on a public road. The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) received a complaint that the ad was socially irresponsible because it featured and encouraged unsafe driving.

Hamburg planning to ban cars from city by 2034

Fri, 17 Jan 2014

Hamburg, Germany is planning to ban all cars from its city center over the next 20 years, according to the Independent U.K. site. It’s a sad turn of affairs when the country that not only has the Autobahn, but also the Green Hell -- the most difficult racetrack in the world -- turns its back on motorized personal transportation.
