Alfa Romeo Milano – spy photo
Mon, 06 Jul 2009The new Alfa Romeo Milano - snapped on a mobile 'phone and posted on Facebook And that’s the case with this picture of the new Alfa Romeo Milano, which has surfaced on the Interweb (on Facebook – I wonder if it was taken by the wife of the head of MI6?!) and lets you see just what the new Alfa Romeo Milano will look like. Obviously taken on a ‘phone, the quality isn’t great, but there’s more than enough detail to see what the car will offer. Taking design cues from the Alfa Romeo 8C (which did the Goodwood Hillclimb at the weekend), the Milano is more than a little reminiscent of the cracking Alfa super mini – the Alfa Romeo MiTo.
2011 Mercedes C Class Facelift revealed +video
Thu, 23 Dec 2010The 2011-2012 Mercedes C Class When we recently reviewed the Mercedes C Class – in relatively lowly C180 CGI guise – we had to conclude that Mercedes’ baby has come a long way. For the first time it really can be judged as small S Class and as a worthy competitor to the BMW 3 Series. Which means the 2011 Mercedes C Class facelift can only add more appeal to a car that is very close to being the most desirable in its sector.
BMW Concept X5 eDrive (2013) plug-in hybrid at Frankfurt motor show
Thu, 22 Aug 2013Sharing the stage with the BMW i3 at the Frankfurt motor show is the BMW Concept X5 eDrive. The plug-in hybrid X5 is set to re-write the SUV rulebook with its four-cylinder petrol-electric drivetrain producing claimed figures of less than 90g/km of CO2 and a tree-hugging 74.3mpg, smashing the Lexus RX450h which produces 145g/km and 44.8mpg. What’s more, it’s better than the most efficient 3-series currently on sale, and far more frugal than the V8-powered BMW X6 Active Hybrid that was axed in late 2011.
