Sales Tax:

We are required by State law to collect 8% Sales Tax for all shipments to New York.

Shipping and Handling Charges- We try to make our shipping and handling charges as low as we can and some cases even free. But with Ebay taking approximately 15% of our sales in eBay & PayPal fees our profit is very thin. All of our s/h charges are clearly listed in the auction so if you feel they are unfair do not purchase that item. Insurance is also included in the US cost. It is not fair to buy it knowing fully what the charges are and then leave low DSRs because you think they are high. Please leave a 5 Star rating on all four subjects. If something is wrong please contact me and I will see what I can do.

BMW ActiveHybrid 5: BMW has another crack at Hybrid

Sat, 01 Oct 2011

BMW ActiveHybrid 5 - arrives in the UK February 2012 BMW’s Hybrid efforts to date haven’t been exactly an unmitigated success, with the BMW ActiveHybrid X6 not even making it to the UK before it was dropped. But now they’re having another crack at eco-cars with the BMW ActiveHybrid 5, a hybrid version of the latest 5-Series. The ActiveHybrid 5 gets a 302bhp twin-turbo six-cylinder in-line petrol – a good start – and throws in to the mix a 53bhp electric motor.

Honda introduces GEAR concept in Montreal

Fri, 18 Jan 2013

We already know that Europe often gets better cars than we do in the United States, but now Canada is getting in on the action, too. At the press days of the Montreal International Auto Show, the Japanese company introduced the Honda GEAR Concept. The car is reportedly inspired by fixed-gear bicycles -- gag me with a spoon -- and Honda says it's simple, utilitarian, but also customizable.

Growing opposition to UK 50mph speed limit plan

Mon, 08 Jun 2009

UK Government plans to cut 60mph national speed limit to 50mph in 2010 By Peter Adams Motoring Issues 08 June 2009 14:21 Opposition to the UK Government’s plan to lower the national speed limit from 60 to 50mph is gathering momentum. Almost 34,000 people have now signed a petition on the Number 10 website urging the Government to ‘not reduce the national speed limit to 50mph.’  It’s become the second most popular petition on the site – ahead of similar bids to stop the Government raising university tuition fees and beaten only by one calling for Gordon Brown to resign as prime minister.Cutting the UK’s national speed limits from 60mph to 50mph: the backgroundBack in March 2009, plans were announced that the Government wanted to cut the national speed limit from 60mph to 50mph on single carriageways in rural areas. In urban areas, some 30mph limits could drop to 20mph.If steamrollered through, the sweeping change to Britain’s speed limits could be enforced from 2010.
