Subaru BRZ: First official BRZ picture
Tue, 01 Nov 2011Subaru BRZ - First Photo Released We’ve had a raft of images of the Toyota FT-86 in the last week or two, but very little on its Subaru sibling – the Subaru BRZ. But now, with the Tokyo Motor Show and the official debut of the BRZ (and the FT-86) looming, we have the first photo of the Subaru offering in the Toybaru project. Developed by Subaru and Toyota – with, it seems, Subaru doing the oily bits and Toyota the styling – the ‘affordable’ sports car from Japan does seem to be a tempting offering.
Jaguar tops J. D. Power Survey again in 2013
Fri, 24 May 2013Even though the Jaguar XF actually slipped from 2nd to 3rd in the top cars section (although it was the ‘Best Executive Car’), behind the Skoda Superb and Skoda Yeti, it received five star ratings for performance, service and running costs and owners rated it as ‘Excellent’ across all categories. And it was more good news for Jaguar Land Rover as Land Rover was rated the most improved brand in 2013, jumping in to the top ten (in 6th place) for the first time, with Freelander owners noting an improved dealer experience and Discovery owners reporting 30 per cent fewer faults – and actually leading the SUV sector for reliability. That’ll help the still lingering perception that JLR’s cars can be ‘fragile’.
Mitsubishi's world debut at Paris
Mon, 15 Sep 2008By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 15 September 2008 09:37 Mitsubishi today released this mysterious teaser photo of a new car – thought to be the new Colt – that will make its world debut at next month's 2008 Paris motor show. It's hard to see much from the shadowy pixels that have been issued: it looks like a generic, modern Mitsu with the Lancer's deep grille and wedgy headlamps. CAR expects Mitsubishi to show a heavily revised Colt at the Paris show on 2 October 2008.
