Gemballa MIG-U1 Enzo – details revealed

Tue, 12 Jan 2010

The Enzo Ferrari based Gemballa MIG-U1 Just before Christmas a set of pictures of a Ferrari Enzo dropped in to our inbox. They turned out to be pictures of a modified Enzo created by Porsche specialist Gemballa and looked very appealing – although probably not to Ferrari aficionados who would no doubt think the Gemballa-ised Enzo to be sacrilege. Old distractions as bad as new tech

Tue, 22 Jul 2014

Adult passengers, twiddling with the radio and children in the car were the main distractions causing either a near-miss or an accident, the poll of more than 18,000 motorists found. These three distractions came ahead of operating the sat-nav and talking on a mobile phone as the biggest reasons for lack of driver attention.

New COPO Camaro concept hits the drag strip

Fri, 16 Dec 2011

This Friday video goodness features a white 2012 COPO Camaro Stock Eliminator Concept on the drag strip. As Autoweek contributor Patrick Paternie explained during the SEMA show, the new COPO (Central Office Production Order) nameplate pays homage to the rare high-powered 1969 Camaros created through a loophole in the special-order program. This enabled dealers to specify a 427 engine--COPO 9560, the aluminum ZL1, or COPO 9561, the Corvette-based L72 iron block--despite the Camaro technically being limited to the 396-cubic-inch powerplant.
