General Terms and Conditions

Payment

I accept the following payment forms:
  • PayPal
  • Personal/Business/Cashier's check
  • Cash (for pickup).
For checks there is a 10 day waiting period until the check has cleared.
Payment is required within three days of auction end, unless other arrangements are made.

Shipping

Please check the listing for shipping rates. Most items will be shipped USPS, although there may be instances were shipping is done through UPS or Fedex, or USPS Priority instead of Parcel. In case a different shipping method other than the selected is being used, it will always be an upgrade (such as shipping time), never be inferior.
Listed shipping rates include a nominal amount for packaging and handling. And since eBay decided to also charge a commission on the shipping costs, these have to be added on top in order to not loose money. Please complain to eBay directly if you don't like this.
Please contact me for international shipping rates before you bid, unless listed.
Also, please ask if you require another shipping method, such as UPS, FedEx, Overnight, etc. I am flexible.

I will ship the item usually one business day after I received payment (or checks are cleared, see above), but it may take two days on occasion.

I will combine shipping for multiple items. Please inquire before for a total or wait for a combined invoice.

You may also pickup items locally in Milwaukee, WI, free of charge. Items must be picked up within seven days, unless otherwise arranged, or storage fees may apply.

Returns

Please check the listing if returns are possible for the particular item.
If the item is not defective and as described, and if returns are possible, return shipping and package insurance is the responsibility of the buyer. Refunds will be given for the item cost only, no refund on original shipping costs. If the item had free shipping, the cost of the original shipping and handling will be deducted from the refund!
There are no restocking fees or similar.
If the item is not in the original condition as described in the listing, no refund will be given!

Shipping damages for insured packages need to be claimed with the shipping company, and buyer agrees to cooperate in the claim!

Thank you for looking and good luck.
I will leave feedback after the buyer left feedback to ensure the transaction was completed to your satisfaction and you received the item.
Email me with any questions you may have.

40 Years of Mmmm

Mon, 21 May 2012

In 1972, the Dow Jones closed above 1,000 for the first time, the Olympic Games in Munich were marred by the killings of 11 Israeli athletes, gasoline averaged 55 cents a gallon, Bobby Fischer became the world chess champion and the last U.S. troops withdrew from Vietnam. It was also a notable year for German automaker BMW, as that year saw the birth of its famed M division.

(Another) Audi A3 e-tron hybrid at Geneva 2013

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

The Audi A3 e-tron – a hybrid A3 EV based on the A3 Sportback – will debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show as a concept. This Audi A3 e-tron isn’t a pointless electric supercar – like the R8 e-tron – or another rollout of the A3 e-tron BEV, but a hybrid A3 with a proper ICE engine coupled to an electric motor, just like the A3 e-tron concept we saw in Shanghai in 2011 That still means a lot of complicated and heavy technology to game the silly official economy tests and come up with ‘official’ economy figures of 158mpg and 35g/km, but the A3 e-tron would – if it were made – offer big tax breaks for company car drivers. The A3 e-tron gets a 1.4 litre direct injection petrol engine good for 148bhp working with an electric motor good for an extra 100bhp.
