Mercedes CLC tease
Wed, 09 Jan 2008By First Official Pictures 09 January 2008 11:19 Looking squat, mean and aggressive (the car, not the model), this is the new Mercedes CLC. And although the CLC is based on the current C-class-derived Sports Coupe, Merc hopes that the 1100 new or revised components will make the car a serious challenger to the BMW 1-series coupe. Mon, 26 Sep 2011Since the joint venture between Toyota and Subaru was announced in 2009, we've seen four concept cars from Toyota of its version, the FT-86/Scion FR-S. But barring some unfortunate-looking Impreza based engineering mules, we've yet to see the Subaru edition. That situation didn't change at the recent 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, where Subaru once again exhibited the rear-drive platform of what we now know will be called the BRZ with a transparent bodyshell rather than production panels.
Goodwood Revival To Honour Iconic Maserati 250F
Thu, 31 Jul 2014SEPTEMBER will see the organisers of the popular Goodwood Revival mark 60 years of one of Formula 1’s most iconic machines, the Maserati 250F. One of the highlights of the historic race meeting will be one of the largest ever on-track collections of the car at the September 12-14 event. As many as 16 examples of the 250F are expected to take part in the Richmond Trophy, which this year will feature 2.5-litre, front-engined grand prix cars of a kind that raced from 1954 to 1960.
