For sale - One factory subframe removed from a running 2005 Honda 450R.  Good, used condition.  Will fit 2004 and 2005 model years. Frame is straight and unmodified.  Grab bar area has one factory original thread (m8), two helicoils that are original thread size (m8), and one larger helicoil in m10 coarse.  All other threads are factory and are in good condition. Ready to bolt on and ride!

Chevrolet Suburban turns 75

The Chevrolet Suburban, the longest-running nameplate in the auto industry, turned 75 this year, and Chevy held a little birthday party on Detroit's Belle Isle on Tuesday. The General Motors division brought some classics for us to ogle and drive, from a 1935 to the 2010 Diamond Edition. Through the early 1930s, automakers were offering car-based wagons.

700 medics call for car smoking ban

AROUND 700 medics and health experts are calling on the Government to ban smoking in cars carrying children ahead of a Commons vote on Monday. In a letter to the British Medical Journal (BMJ), respiratory experts said secondhand smoke was a "major cause of ill health in children", damaging the developing lungs, causing sudden infant death and leading to thousands of hospital trips every year. Signatories to the letter are being co-ordinated by Dr Nicholas Hopkinson from Imperial College London and chairman of the British Thoracic Society's chronic obstructive pulmonary disease specialist advisory group.

Pagani Huayra - now heading for the USA in 2013 At the weekend we broke the news that Pagani were not going to be able to take the Huayra to the US for the foreseeable future, as they’d had their application for a Temporary Exemption from Advanced Air Bag Requirements denied by the DOT. Which we’ve known was likely for months. So we asked why Pagani continued with its US launch and continued taking orders for cars it knew, almost certainly, it wouldn’t be able to complete.
