Drink-Driving Among Elderly Rising
Mon, 14 Oct 2013NEW figures suggest drinking and driving among elderly motorists is on the rise. Police forces in the UK have reported that as many as 232 over-75s were caught driving over the legal limit last year, including a 93-year-old stopped in Devon. According to insurer Swiftcover.com the number of over-75s offending has increased by 20% since 2010.

Last time Ford played this game we had almost 30 years for the Ford Ghia, a range of Ford’s mainstream models that had all the toys as standard to try and create an appealing high-end option for buyers.
New Jaguar XJC – the Coupe

In fact – by the time Jaguar got round to launching the XJC on to the market in 1975 – it was the only XJ that had the SWB, as all XJ saloons had moved over to the LWB as standard. A glorious-looking car – especially in ‘New Avengers’ guise as driven by Steed – it was plagued by the problems that beset British Leyland at the time.
