XR650R OWNERS REPLACE YOUR FOOT PEG BOLTS!

On the Honda XR650R, there is a notorious problem with the foot peg bolts shearing off and breaking, cracking, or bending.
Replace them with these military grade bolts,  10mm 1.25 x 50mm Black Oxide Grade 12.9.  This kit comes with 4 bolts, and washers.

Snapping off a foot peg while riding can be disastrous.  Don't take any chances with the factory bolts.  These might fit other bikes, as there have been problems on other models as well.

I have about 15 of these kits left.

BMW M750d & M650d on the way

Thu, 19 Apr 2012

BMW M650d & M750d on the way BMW are planning to offer the new tri-turbo diesel from the new M550d in the 6 Series and new 7 Series. Paris launch likely. The BMW M Division range of cars – the power of ‘M’ with the frugality of diesel – officially arrived at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, offering performance almost on a par with BMW’s M cars but with the joy of frugality when you aren’t in the mood to drive like your hair’s on fire.

Michael Schumacher is the Stig! The Update We received umpteen emails after we ran a story last week about Top Gear revealing the identity of the Stig as Michael Schumacher in the opening episode of the new series. It is astonishing how much people love the show (but we include ourselves in that).

Koenigsegg at Geneva Motor Show: Koenigsegg Agera +video

Tue, 02 Mar 2010

The Koenigsegg Agera hits the floor at Geneva We managed to uncover information on the Koenigsegg Agera early on, following on from the chat we had with Koenigsegg when they told us they would be bringing ‘Something New’ to the Geneva Motor Show. And I think we were a bit ungracious. Maybe it was disappointment that theAgera wasn’t perhaps as radical as we hoped from a new Koenigsegg, or it could just have been a long day.
