AC Cars and Zagato launch 378 GT Zagato

AC Cars, working in collaboration with Italian design house Zagato, has announced its new sports car, the AC 378 GT Zagato. The launch was revealed at last week's Geneva motor show, where the production version of the Aston Martin V12 Zagato – which was, in fact designed in-house by Aston Martin in the UK – was being displayed on the British carmaker's stand. The car is instantly recognizable as a Zagato-designed car, with minimalist, organic surfacing and key features such as the C-pillar/rear window crossover.

Kia sounds off at SEMA show with five loud Souls

James Brown may have passed on, but the Soul puns live. Kia's SEMA show assault this year includes five examples of the 2014 Soul, designed through collaborations with Vans, Popular Mechanics, RIDES (two of them), and NBC's "The Voice." There's a mobile DJ booth. One filled with stuff from Jimi Hendrix and John Legend.

Barn-stored, one-off Lagonda V12 heads to auction

Lagonda is now a nameplate associated with Aston Martin; even though the two companies' histories have been closely intertwined for the past half century, Lagonda was once an independent marque whose creations rivaled those from Crewe and Newport Pagnell. The marque's historical models are rare on any side of the pond now, but every once in a while we see one of its cars make a grand entrance. This V12 two-door Hooper saloon was a one-off built for the wife of the owner of Hooper Bodies Ltd.
