Jaguar C-X75 concept

We waited with baited breath to see what the Jaguar design team had in store at the Paris motor show this year, and we weren't disappointed with the resulting showcar. Created by a team led by Matthew Beaven, Principal Designer at Jaguar Advanced Design, the C-X75 is both a celebration of Jaguar's 75 year history and a design showcase for the company's hybrid turbine technology. 50 Years of the BMW 'Neue Klasse'

In a year that sees the celebration of the ever-seductive Jaguar E-Type and the characterful Renault 4, it would be easy to overlook other cars also reaching their half-century, especially a mundane three-box saloon. However, the BMW 1500 isn't any less significant. When launched at the 1961 Frankfurt International Motor Show, intrigued and inquisitive visitors were forced to wait 30 minutes just to catch a glimpse of the car.

MSN readers back 80mph limit on UK motorways

An overwhelming 20,000 of you said the limit should be raised from the current 70mph, while a quarter of respondents preferred to stick with the status quo. Microsoft poll results Our poll was published in the week when the government announced plans to reduce the speed limit on a section of the M1 in Derbyshire and Yorkshire in a bid to cut air pollution.
