From the original leaders in Nitrous Bottle Heating, comes ARC's all new Nitrous Billet Brackets. They are available for Single or Dual Bottle Set-Ups. To Simplify your life we now have them with the option to add a heated plate to it as well as different mounting options.

The Dimensions on our NBH-20 Dual Bottle Brackets are as follows. 16.375" Wide and 11.75" Deep. Since the bottles will lay at a slight angle just like every other standard Horizontal mounting bracket out on the market so the bottles inner siphon tube lays in bottom corner of the bottle. On our versions, the Taller side of the C-clamps measurements are 11.5" to the highest point on the knob and on the Shorter side C-clamps will be 9" to the highest point of the knob. Therefore they are not big and bulky and do not take up that much space at all. Very slim and yet very sturdy and will last a lifetime.

Our Dual brackets conveniently close in the middle of both bottle holders allowing for easy release or insertion of both bottles at the same time. Our single brackets can be installed so the clamps will release the bottle from the left or right side position by simply flipping the pieces around when putting together. ARC also has the option to add ROLL BAR MOUNTS or THE STANDARD RAIL MOUNT. A heated plate is another option that they offer if you wish to change your bracket to a heated one at a later date and we recommend you add the

ARC brackets come equipped with a rubber liner on the inside of the C clamps to securely hold your nitrous bottle in place and keep it from getting scratches from the constant loading and unloading to refill your bottle. Plus all of our brackets are clear anodized for long life.

And when it turned up it looked just like the Porsche Cayenne Turbo on which it’s based, albeit with some Gemballa-esque mods.

'Smartest' UK drivers revealed

Thu, 08 May 2014

DRIVERS aged 50-65 from the Midlands have been judged to be Britain’s 'smartest' – displaying the most fuel efficient and safe driving behaviours – while people aged 18-30 from Wales and the South West are more like driving dunces, new research claims. Youngsters in the north of England are the nation’s smartest young drivers, but overall older drivers reign supreme on the road. The Shell FuelSave Smarter Driving research ranked young (aged 18-30) and older motorists (aged 50-65) on their ‘smart’ and ‘not-smart’ driving behaviours towards fuel efficiency and safety – everything from smooth driving to wearing appropriate footwear behind the wheel.

Concept Car of the Week: Chevrolet Astro (1967)

Fri, 29 Mar 2013

It gave its name to a boxy van in the 80s, but the Chevrolet Astro I was one of the most exciting dream cars developed within the GM styling studio. Presented in New York Auto Show in 1967, it was the first of three Astro concepts shown in annual succession and illustrates GM's desire to develop models that were both aerodynamic and attractive. What we might take for granted in aerodynamics nowadays was almost untouched territory in the mid ‘60s.
