UK to get dedicated Sky Sports Formula 1 Channel in 2012

Sky Sports F1 HD - a dedicated F1 Channel for the UK News Corporation has revealed that the UK will get a new dedicated Sky Sports Channel just for Formula 1 (F1) starting March 2012. It’s not exactly a huge surprise that Sky Sports is launching a new F1 Channel in 2012, perfectly timed to coincide with Sky’s takeover of Formula 1 Coverage from the BBC. The F1 HD Channel (as far as we know it will only be on HD – another reason to upgrade to Sky HD if you haven’t yet) intends churning out F1 content 365 days a year.

Autodesk held 'Automotive Days - Detroit 2009' on May 12th and 13th at the Townsend Hotel in Downtown Birmingham, Michigan, one of Detroit's more upscale communities. The two-day event focused on digital prototyping and included a variety of presentations - from advanced 3D visualization to engineering simulation. Koenigsegg to celebrate 100th car with special model

Koenigsegg, Swedish makers of stunning supercars, are planning a very special model to celebrate their 100th car. Christian Von Koenigsegg founded his eponymous supercar company back in 1994, but it took until 2002 for the first customer car to be delivered. That first car was the Koenigsegg CC8 (a development of Christian’s original CC prototype) which featured bespoke everything – from chassis to suspension and brakes – but utilised a Ford 4.7 litre V8.
