This rack and 120 clamps are all new. The Autocraft clamps cover domestic and import cars and light trucks, commercial, off-road, and agricultural vehicles, as well as plumbing, irrigation and industrial applications. These are all new hose clamps feature a one-piece housing mechanically locked to the band. This method is preferred to spot-welded housings which can fail from stress and corrosion. Every clamp meets or exceeds industry performance requirements. The rack will hold nearly 160 clamps and comes with 120 new clamps of various sizes pictured. Thes clamps come in handy for a variety of uses whether industrial or automotive use. Just having these on hand can save you money, as it could easily cost you more to go get a clamp than the clamp costs. For that matter there is easily $90.00 worth of clamps on the rack. Good for organizing your used clamps as well.

Senate passes cash-for-clunkers extension

The Senate added $2 billion to "cash for clunkers" on Thursday, ending a week of suspense about whether the popular new program would have to shut down for lack of funds. The bill, identical to the one that passed the House last week, now goes to President Barack Obama for his signature. The administration has pushed hard for the new funding.

GM plants solar field at Chevrolet Volt factory

Looking to put a charge in its eco-friendly image, General Motors is installing a 264,000-square-foot solar field at the Detroit-Hamtramck assembly plant that builds the Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid sedan. The solar field, being built in cooperation with utility DTE Energy, will generate 516 kilowatts. GM says that’s enough power to charge up 150 Volts every day for a year.
