2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK revealed
Thu, 13 Jan 2011Following its premature unveiling in a French-language marketing video late last year, Mercedes-Benz has now issued official photographs of the new SLK. Set to make its debut at the German carmaker's 125th birthday celebrations in Stuttgart at the end of January--prior to North American sales beginning this summer--the popular two-seat roadster was thoroughly re-engineered with a new rear-wheel-drive platform and more contemporary engine and gearbox combinations. The car will make its auto-show debut in Geneva.
Tesla Model S turns in to Jaguar XF
Mon, 06 Jun 2011Jaguar XF - or is it a Tesla? Mon, 18 Aug 2014A DRIVER caught travelling at 139mph in a 60mph zone leads new data showing dozens of cases of cars being recorded at well in excess of 100mph, according to data sourced from Police Scotland. The fastest speed captured was spotted on the A96 Keith to Huntly Road, one mile east of the B9115 Junction in Aberdeenshire, by a mobile speed camera. The figures, recorded over a 15-month period, were obtained through a Freedom of Information request by the Institute of Advanced Motorists.
